DAY 1 : TANGIER- CHEFCHAOUEN
Welcome at the airport/port of Tangiers and transfer to Chefchaouen. Visit of the Medina, half board accommodation in Casa Hassan a nice hotel
DAY 2 : CHEFCHAOUEN- TISSOUKA-ZAOUIYA HABTEENE
Breakfast at the hotel and then we depart to Zaouiya Habteene village in the national park, accompanied by guide and mule. After 4 hours of walking we arrive to Talassemtane guesthouse. The path shows an extraordinary view of the fir forest of Tissouka Mount. Lunch will be in Talassemtane guesthouse, local dishes of the farm. After lunch, we will take a tour in the village to see the daily life of the Rif’s peasants. Dinner and overnight stay at Talassemtane guesthouse
DAY 3: ZOUIYA- MOUNT LAKRA 2159M- PLACA D’ESPAGNE
After a traditional breakfast we start the trek to the highest Summit of Chefchaouen province. On the way, we come cross caves and Talassemtane magnificent fir trees. We stop for lunch at Cave Baroud, an ancient cave that used to be a refuge during the war of the Rif
We continue the expedition up to the Summit, and then we go down towards Plaça d’espagne, a wonderful place full of Moroccan fir, an endemic species that is found only in this part of Africa. Transfer on a land rover to Talassemtane guesthouse where we will spend the night
DAY4: ZAOUIYA-BNI YZID- CHECHAOUEN
After breakfast, we start our hike to Dardara, 4 hours trek through villages and fields meeting Rifain people carrying out their daily rural life. Lunch will be a picnic. We arrive at Dardara and transfer to Chefchaouen. On the way back, we visit the cooperative of goat cheese and natural honey. Half board Accommodation in a charming guesthouse in Casa Hassan
DAY 5: CHEFCHAOUEN – TANGIER
Breakfast and transfer to Tangier.
